Lee was always a decent player at the first half of the season. Quick and could tackle and pass. But looked a bit tired when it got to march to the end of the season. But a villa fan. So respect.

I don't see our Champions League exit as a failure. We got a lot further than most people expected us to go, and lost to the eventual winners. We had an amazing run in our first Champions League season in decades, I'd take that as a win.

Lee Hendrie was around when i was a young teenager. He was a great player, and it used to be a mystery to me how he didn't have a career like Lamps, Gerrard, Rio, etc. He was definitely ahead of Lampard at one point. I think his off the pitch antics, gave him a bad reputation, unfairly imo. I knew a woman who was part of his "entourage", for a little while. At the time he drove a Ferrari and was probably at the peak of his wealth and fame. Let's just say he enjoyed the the benefits of the fame and wealth to the maximum!

If he had gone on to do anything after leaving Blades then fair enough but he was in non-league shortly after his spell with us, saying it reflects badly on the supporters is a pisstake 😂

Blackwell is a dick well known for binning off players down to reserves for no real reason than to exert his dominance. Mainly because he couldn't do it by "normal" means. But that said, Hendrie, Cotterill and Gillespie were all massive drinkers

I think Real Madrid would be wise to go for him.

Pretty sure Hendrie is dyslexic and means Aldi.
