He has RAM! He has HALF A MEGABYTE OF RAM! Get him!

When are we getting new James videos via satellite? I mean we live in the future, so its about time….

Japanese here. glad you caught 電鉄 and 伝説 lol
used to play it as a kid

You tell me james

finding the exact cartridge hidden in the collection was hilarious, on par with bringing out the Good Boy 2!!

News in 2030 be like: "Group of hackers hijack a NASA satellite to broadcast old super famicom games, just for the heck of it"

18:32 IF YOU HAVE A RARE GAME IT IS YOUR DUTY TO DUMP IT ONLINE

It's cool that you were able to dump something that was previously lost, even if it wasn't anything technically new

Dentetsu instead of densetsu is just a silly JP pun. It helps that the original Momotaro Densetsu game was goofy: In the original story, Momataro's mother finds him when she's washing clothes at the river, like on a scrubbing board or whatever the authentic JP method was. In the game she's washing clothes at the river... with a washing machine she dragged there and plugged into a tree

The Famicom games are Famidaily 0260 for Densetsu and 0411 for Dentetsu on RandStranger's channel if you want a short review of them, the Famidaily series is great for seeing a little bit of basically every game except the naughty unlicensed disk system games

I can imagine his kids telling mom and said "mom, dad's yelling in his shed again..".

"Or I can just put it in, I guess. Oh, I missed the hole. Oh, I keep doing it too hard.
Oh, you do it on the way back down so you don't have to try and do it super super fast."

So many weird first 'live' services are just GONE. Imagine being those artists/programmers having zippity doo dah to show for your work.

I believe the first voice acting in a zelda game was on the satellaview with the legend of zelda 1, they had real employees saying the lines live if I remember correctly

(edit) he explained it better

I say it counts. Even if it's exactly the same, we won't know that until it's dumped. For all we know it could have been a revision that never got a cart release. Good on you for preserving it.

the momotaro heads are gonna lose it

OH!!!!! So this is the thing that birthed BS-Zelda

… if you couldn’t tell by the name “Linkie”, I am a dork for The Legend of Zelda.

Momotaru Densetsu (Peach Boy Legend) was a Husdon Soft game originally on the Famicom.  It was a hit for them.
Someone at Hundson Soft realized they made a pun by changing it to Dentetsu instead of Densetsu.  That became Momotaru Dentetsu (Peach Boy's Electric Railway).

The sad part is that Momotaru Dentetsu (Peach Boy's Electric Railway) ended up becoming bigger in Japan than the series it was a pun of; the Switch version was the 2nd best selling Nintendo Switch game of 2020 in Japan (only behind Animal Crossing).

Even if it isn't a game that hasn't been seen since the 90s, it's still a pretty nice game very few people have played since then! Maybe I'll air it next time I make a schedule.
