These two are soulmates. It doesn’t always have to be a romantic relationship. They are gen X treasures!

“I have friends everywhere”

The way Diego expresses how he thinks and feels is something special. I love his observations about friendship and how he’s changed as a result of the things he’s been through. Thank you for giving the room for them to elaborate on it!

They are both so intelligent and interesting to listen to…and both have beautiful speaking voices.

The best Diego and Gael interview I've seen period!

I hope and wish for these two guys to stay friends for as long as they live.
It is very hard to find true, sincere friends that admire each other and care for each other.
Thank you Maria for this great interview.

Gael always surprises me and soothes me in how he expresses himself and the way he thinks.
I also enjoyed the interviewer. She was amazing. Her questions were deep and i really enjoyed watching her.

They turned posturing machismo on its head in the very first picture they made together. I loved that, and I love their relationship and the example they provide of what nontoxic masculinity looks like.
On a separate note...I remember when Diego used to be really self-conscious about his English (I get it, estoy inseguro about my Español) and now he's going to be hosting for Jimmy Kimmel for a week. Go Diego!  Eres lo máximo!

Such a great interview!! but this part in  particular 12:38... just beautiful... how diego was talking about his relationship with gael, i almost cried...the amount of love he has for him is soul crushing... i literally melted with every word.
and for him to say all of that so confidently and with so much enthusiasm , not shying away or being cold or nonchalant about it... and i just adore that it seems like he put alot of thought about his connection with gael, understanding how special and rare it is. when he talked about how he thinks that him losing his mother when he was a kid made him and gael even closer 😭 it's just so beautiful to see him trying so hard to explain why gael means as much to him as he dose... i could litarlly hear them talk about the depth of their friendship for hours and hours.

btw, i think that the word he was looking for to describe him and gael's relationship is soulmates😭

I'm so proud of humans like these. Of men like these. Of Mexicans like these. Son carnales!

Maria Hinojosa saying órale cabrones just made my day!

I love this conversation with two of my favorite Mexican Actors  porque as a TexMex I miss talking about art cinema  history with two actors I can relate in Spanish. The topic about politics is a huge impact on Latinos and Gael on a personal level gets it.

E muito forte essa série! Muito tocante e profunda! E sempre inesperada como quase tudo que assisto dos mexicanos. Estou amando seguir is mexicanos através desses dois mega artistas!
