Bagel & fam continue their late summer vacation in Lake Como, Italy. It is Bagelโs birthday and Mama Emma has planned some super fun-filled and delicious activities for both humans and their doggo to enjoy!
They check into the classic The Grand Hotel Tremezzo, where staff and other hotel guests welcome Bagel with hugging arms everywhere he goes.
Bagel and family hike up the hills, fetch tennis balls ๐พ and even get gifted by a neighboring diners, a huge Tomahawk steak bone for Bagel to enjoy on his birthday.
Later, the family visits a Como local residentโs house for a garden-to-table, home-made pasta and tiramisu cooking class. Here Deborah, the instructor, offers amazing tips, guidance and historical context to the northern Italian cuisine while she prepares a classic, pre-world war II grandmaโs secret pasta recipe for Bagel, Richard and Emma to enjoy! Bagel goes crazy for Deborahโs pasta ;)
Lastly, to cap it all off, the fam visits the beautiful village of Bellagio and takes a nice, afternoon stroll by the gentle hills in the Villa Melzi Garden.

This video made me very emotional not only because Lake Como that is so pretty but mainly because of Bagel who is so so sweet soul, so lovely dog and I wish I could meet him one day to cuddle and kiss him- we can make pasta ๐ for him as well hahaha, I am like him I love cheese, Grana Padano and Parmiggiano Regiano, we went to a factory in Reggio Emilia, Modena - and secondly because of Richard playing always a silly sausage what brings this pure thing that we do need in this world. I have this sensible soul as well, and my husband too. We donโt have children, only our 2 cats, Zuzu and Angel Maria- I always make a lovely thematic birthday table for them โคThey lived with us in Brazil, Italy and now UK ๐ฌ๐ง
