If respawn added an heirloom tracker I feel like it would actually make them money, if I knew I was $80 away from getting an heirloom id spend that $80 instead of assuming I’m $500 away

Free? The air we breath ain’t even free anymore

How is the indie company respawn supposed to make their money

0:03 must have been the wind 💀💀

Free Heirlooms?

Nothing from EA is free.

Maybe I’m just bitter but atp I feel like they need to make heirloom shards a tad easier to get. There are so many mythics that surely making once every 500 packs, it’s one every 300. Also every legend should be free

My method is stacking up packs until hitting 500 guaranteeing a heirloom

I remember I got an heirloom on my ps4 account for free at level 200-ish. I was so happy. But then, the account got wiped when I tried merging it for the crossplay feature they introduced back in 2023. I was so devasted. I hope I can get it back someday..

Ultimate pass gives 22 packs instead of 14 and also 1200 crafting materials ontop. Which means if you spend these $9 every 45 days (= 8 passes per year) you pretty much get 1 35-36 item milestone event for "free" (8x 1100 AC = 8800 AC + 8x 2000? crafting materials = 16000 crafting mats is a guranteed 36 items event) so if you smart you can buy the anniversary event without spending additional money just by buying the ultimate seasonpass every split. If you add the 22 free packs (8x 22 = 176) to it and your usual levelup and and free packs (events and the 10/10 packs opened bonus) you get 1,5x times heirloom shards on average every single year just by spending these $9 every 1,5 months in addition to all other of the anniversary event skins.

My boi didn’t get an heirloom until like 750 😂

I’m a level 1922 and I only have 2 heirlooms . I’ve bought 100 packs. Finished all battle passes to 110 besides , 9 of them (104,65,89,57,98,12,32,46,1).

I guarantee you I’m past 500 packs . Since my last one . 😢😢😢

I think it's absolutely diabolical that you have to open FIVE HUNDRED PACKS to get them.

I’ve been playing Apex Legends for about 2 months because my friends convinced me to try it. I’ve opened maybe 50 Apex Packs in total, I haven’t spent any money on it, and I’ve already gotten Heirloom Shards twice.

Thanks to this video and the comments, I finally understand why my friends hate me for it xdd

I got 2 heirlooms after regularly playing for 6 years (started on Season 5).

Bought the Premium Pass on Season 7, and just completed the dailies majority of the days since the passes pay itself. And in the process completing the weekly challenges as well.

I also don’t grind the game. I just casually play with some friends and while doing the dailies.

I actually got 150 shards from 500 packs and another 150 before 500 packs. It was a retro BP pack but I already had everything from the BP, idk if that has something to do with it, but I was highly surprised. I spent my first 150 on the power sword and for the others I‘ll wait for a Caustic heirloom recolor

I just write down every time i open a pack. It become even easier since the introduction of 10 packs meter. Now i always aware of how much more i need to open, exact amount.

I've been playing Apex since 2019 and got my first Heirloom 4 years later and I have thousands of hours played with multiple battle passes hahaha

It needs to be made clearer to everyone that the Apex packs that count towards the 500 are only the regular Apex packs, not themed ones, event packs are not valid, weapon packs and so on

This video made me giggle.
