thanks for not altered raw excamples. With lights on ALR destroys White but when lights its off then White is way brighter and vivid than ALR, so I will go for white cause have dark room:)

I think we need a double sided screen, one side is alr gray for daytime and white for the other side for night time.😊

Big thanks mate!!! That is the video I was looking for!!! I can now decide for which one I need to go all in :) Thank you !!

Thank you for doing so many test. Day/Night and moving vs still images.

Great video man. I'm partial to the grey screen myself because I always wanted one. But now I just saw it in action.

Simple comparison without too much overload on information.

I will install a white wall for my JMGO N3 Ultimate. Thanks a lot for this video!

Fantastic information. Side by side review? Just what I was looking for. Gracias.

Great Video!

Great video helped me out 💪🏽

ALR , yes it's a little darker with the lights out but the performance with some ambient light more than makes up for it IMO

Great informative video 👍

Well done

Great video

Now the grey screen is 1.2 contrast, and the white is 1.0; you can definitely see the difference in the light. Not so much in the dark. But I'd still saw the difference. I'd go with the grey

Many thanks for making up my mind😊
I regret,  😪
I've ordered white screen projector 120 inches, gray screen wins in day time by 80%
And white screen wins night time but not that much by 60%

Next time ill choose GRAY, indeed is best 👌

watching this on my lg g5 oled, the alr screen lacks vibrant colors, it looks like the first oled TVs 10 years ago. the clouds look wrong, wrong colors.
so it's either full treatment of the room and white screen, or washed out blacks or washed out colors. for ALR you will also need a very good projector, both will cost you more than a white screen setup, medium projecter and 77 inch oled for daytime.

The grey screen wins hands down. But what if you run your projector on eco mode. Which puts the brightness down. How would that look then on a grey screen

ALR screens are too expensive. Will have to stay with my manual pull down white projector screen.

I don't understand why there's even a consideration on choice unless it's price-related. The ALR screen destroys the white in all light scenarios. I don't know anything about projectors but it looks like there's just less ambient light bleed or it has better control of it. The difference wasn't so noticeable when it was in a dark room but I assume if you just bump the brightness up on the projector then the ALR would murder it
