The thing I love about your recaps is that you guys aren't sure because you aren't using eval bars or engine lines to help you. Manual analysis feels more authentic.

The only point of correction was that while Gukesh didn't have chances, he maintained a position where he could imbalance it and push if the match situation required it. He forced the draw when the that meant the match was sealed. Likewise from hearing the next comment I figured it out that you were judging the games in isolation, Vidit did offer the draw once it was clear Nihal was winning (and certainly he wouldn't if that wasn't the case). Also, Nihal was indeed dead lost, but his opponent missed the chance even when there were multiple good moves.

Our ladies got them back for the World Cup!

Gukesh under 2700 is brutal

Thank you very much for these recaps!

Nice recap thanks

Feel like everyone in India needs to buy Nihal a coffee after this game. I understand Vidit offering the draw - seemed very unclear and they must have memories of Gukesh just needing a draw last time to clinch the whole thing and losing it. Ukraine playing a 16 year old on board 1 is nothing.  England have Bodhana Sivanandan age 12 on board 1 and she’s on 2-0 so far.

Nice discussion. Very likeable gentlemen.

Javokhir ❌️ brilliant ✅️
Sindarov ❌️ kingdarov ✅️

48:00 Rxf7 probably a blunder haha but Rad1 followed by Rxf7 looks brutal

Preuss I like the beard.
