Part of the fun imo is making a random world anytime you want to start anew. Just discovering your own new world is awesome. Our current world has a pretty cool world I really like

"nooo" is another super-continent, going almost all the way up to the Deep North. This continent even has the first five bosses - and in the correct order as you travel north!

In 1.0 ALL seeds have changed... We need an update on "best seeds" for 1.0 version

All I want is a massive mistlands with little mist.

I haven't seen a video this GOOD on Valheim seeds yet! If you could go into more gritty detail on Map Gen, I would watch and like that too. Cheers!

My absolute favorite seed (so far) has to be CakeisaliE
It's got a great starting landmass with a Meadows valley surround by Mountains, save for a thin strip of Black Forest that forms the passage into the valley. It's also got an Elder altar literally on a coast, which makes for a fun place to build (if you use mods to disable the stupid no-building forcefield. I hate artificial limitations like those!)

My first seed from when the game first launched had a super mountain on it. I actually built a portal hub at the top and called it "Throat of the world." for obvious reasons.

In an older version of the game I once had the swamp, mountain and plains boss spawns all in line of sight of each other. I came across it from using the world seed generator only about 10 times or so, and it was to see if I could get anything decent having watched a YT vid on good seed spawns. I also enjoy the videos on terrible seed spawns, for those that like a bit more challenge.

Seeds are great for making a server and doing objective specific playthroughs!

Our current MP seed has a mountain like that, AND there's the special boss version of the ice caverns that spawned basically at the peak

@mmorgz6622 3 months ago

6:59 that is super interesting... that explains alot with several seeds ive played.

3Qkrzmij7c is one of my favorites, because it has a Moder SO close to spawn; I found it when I was doing worlds for testing (E.G. testing what level of shield you need to parry a bear)
It has a decent mountain that’s easy to accidentally find, with Moder, 4 frost caves (I don’t know how to know if they have Tetra), 10 structures (according to the seed finder),
There’s Eikthyr about as close to spawn as possible, another mountain slightly further away with 5 frost caves and 10 structures, and Bonemass, Yagluth, and the Elder are all also fairly close to spawn, and at the very left side of the map, above the Queen, there is a mountain with 8 frost caves, and another close to the Ashlands, (still left side of the map) (I don’t know if that’s impressive, but I thought it was very cool)

I had a location of a small patch of plains that sat like the bottom of a bowl for some mountains an slight black forest mixed in with it the location was absolutely breathtaking with the way it was shaped an elevation as the mountains were not tall at all the whole area was more like a creator. Wish we still had that seed.

@pokefuranku 3 months ago

0:55 One funny thing about this is... you don't really need to kill Eikthyr to keep progresing the game, just use some trolls to do you job. So I see a wonderfull start where everything you need is close xD

I found a pretty cool seed. Its a massive starter island, with moder and bonemass on it. Theres not an elder on it, but there are two islands within cart distance that has an elder.

Seed: theendtime

I fell in love with “mountain1” seed. It has the hook mountain near, but across the sea so its not right on the same island as you spawn. It has 4 smaller mountains on spawn island and 3 of them have silver vains. 5 bosses are kinda close as are few hildir quests and a big swamp.

@HueSolaris 3 months ago

Great Video for the seeds! I also stumbled upon The Hook months ago.

As of 1.0, spawn for MGJPxIV04t is no longer on the small island in the center of the lagoon and has shifted slightly North to the inner coastline of the larger landmass

@chromwell7680 3 months ago

I got lucky and got what I now know is a Hook mountain above the cloud layer in my first randomly generated seed in the game. It even has a thin, somewhat flat platform at the top for home making. My seed was y6cADTX6ei, with the plateau resting around -2104, 3806. The plateau is 440 meters high with two small peaks at each end going up to 458 and 460.
