It has been brought to our attention that our previous headline for this video ‘Gen Z Gurkhas…’ was perceived by some to be related to the large-scale demonstrations which have taken place in Nepal.

Our intention in using the term “Gen Z” was solely to highlight the young age of these soldiers, not to make any connection to the protests.

We want to assure our audience that no offence was intended and that we value your perspectives and appreciate that we can provide this clarification.

Gurkhas are hard core. Great soldiers, we need more of them.

They should all get automatic British Citizenship after completing their 3 years of being a soldier in the British Army. These soldiers are ELITE, they are extremely fit, brave dedicated soldiers.

Being British I know the Gurkhas are the best of the best fighting forces in the world. They are one of very few fighting forces that have stood by the UK through out history and I am very proud of them.

The best thing about Gurkhas, is that being selected to even start training is a huge deal in Nepal. It's ingrained into their culture that being a Ghurkha is greatest achievement you can get. 10,000s of young men apply each year and only a few make it through. The ones chosen are the most obedient, motivated and fit troops you can get out of Nepal. Excellent fighting force.  <3

It is nothing less than an honour, to have the gurkhas fighting for the British army. We are blessed.

Love the Gurkhas. They were very kind to me as a young soldier in Sennybridge and fearsome enemies on exercise in Germany. It was great to meet some old soldiers in Kathmandu much later in my life.

Most of the brave people goes in British gurkha army rai limbu tamang gurung. ❤

1st time i met the Gurkhas was during the faulklands conflict. I ended up in Cambridge military hospital and these guys were amazing, true loyalty and friendship. Britain should do more for these people. Much respect.

We need more regiments more of them

I've worked with these guys in the field & in the private sector, & they are Fukcing awesome, I have done their Pre selection training in their Homeland, the altitude is a killer, I'm surprised they aren't all as high as a kite at sea level, they all might look like 12 year olds, but I'm really happy they are on our side.

Fiercest Soldiers in the world so glad they are on our side and have stayed loyal to Britain for over 200 years had the privilege of seeing them at the commonwealth games impeccable manners very friendly but wdnt mess with

It's amazing to think that the original Ghurkas or Ghorkas now side with the British after fighting against them due to the respect both sides developed for another.
