what a wonderful journey! This gentleman was ace.

You might be wealthy but you’ll never be Rob-Walker-doing-an-interview-chilling-in-a-gullwing-merc wealthy

This is Grand Prix GOLD!!
Thank for posting... Lifelong Fan of Rob Walker and his accomplishments!

I first remembered Rob Walker from his monthly reports of Grand Prix's in Road & Track.  From this video is the first time I've heard his voice.

Thank you for posting this. I grew up with reading Mr. Walker’s columns in road and track magazines and did not realize he was behind the iconic Johnny Walker brand.

Thankyou for posting this wonderful film; I love this generation of cars and people.

A legend

I always loved Rob Walkers articles in Road & Track Magazine in the 70’s & 80’s a real pleasure to read.

I remember Rob Walker and his 300SL, together with Stirling Moss he made motor racing history.

“…..the second chauffeur….” 😂

True gentleman!

Fantastic!  Thanks so much for posting this.

Wonderful interview. When was this recorded and by whom?

Brilliant video

My mum, Phyliss, was his secretary at one time, I think when they were at Chessington, but this was before I was born, so not entirely sure.

A WONDERFUL RECORD OF ROB WALKERS RACING LIFE. However, have they caught the dubbing mixer yet? All too often the sound of racing engines drowns out what Rob or the voice over or commentator is saying.

What should have been a superb video is ruined by extremely poor quality sound and image!
