I moved from tokyo to shanghai like 3yrs ago and honestly i love shanghai more. Its just more authentic and the people a are more relatable. Love shanghai

I feel so free and chill in Shanghai.  So many good cafes, restaurants, shops. People are so friendly. Unlike Japan, there are not so many restrictions

It's crazy how my motherland have  transformed in just my life time. As a Generation X i got to witness this amazing transformation!! I saw the poverty, hunger, pain and suffering in China back in the 80s and 90s. And now 40 years later i can say YOU DID IT CHINA 🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳 SO PROUD TO BE CHINESE!!

shanghai looks so fun and amazing. the amount of development china accomplished in the past 4-5 decades is actually insane. very impressive. not to mention they didn’t sacrifice good diplomacy and policy for the well being of their people.

I have been to Shanghai and Tokyo, believe me, Shanghai is more beautiful, morden, clean, affordable & safe, 10 times more delicious food. Shanghai has 8 million less population than Tokyo, but has double amount of coffee shops that of Tokyo has. Tokyo is also good though.

In fact, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, etc. near Shanghai are all suitable for living.

When next time you are coming back to Shanghai, don't forget arrange several days to visit the surrounding cities of Shanghai, big or small, they are also very attractive with 2000+ years histories and superior beautiful. You may take 2-3 nights in Hangzhou, 2 nights in Suzhou. There is a proverb first appeared 700 years ago about Suzhou and Hangzhou: "Just as there is paradise in heaven, there are Suzhou and Hangzhou on earth."
