Something a little different. This was a suggestion by a viewer that I react to Babymetal Interviews to get to know the band beyond just their stage presence and I had a bast watching these!

I will list the links to the videos below!

Momoko went overseas to study in an English speaking country after she graduated from Sakura Gakuin in late March of 2018.
Probably to New Zealand.
The next time we saw her was on the stage at SUPER SLIPPA in Taiwan in August of 2019, with BABYMETAL as an avenger (supporting dancer).

just another prime example of how sweet these lovely ladies are

Great stuff, you have to love their interviews. Also Su-metal's advice to younger female artists to not be disheartened by criticism and to believe in what they are doing - they got so much undeserved hate, especially early on and even now there are still a few people who spout crap and refuse to even listen to them.

As for the fans of these young ladies and their Kami's I feel that I speak for most if not all when I say you can never do too much reacting to BABYMETAL.

(Interview about Elevator Girl) Interviewer-“What if the Elevator actually stopped in Hell?” Moa-“Oh that’s impossible, but if it were to stop in Hell, I’d turn it into a paradise”

The last interview is a great reminder that the group had to deal with A TON of hate and criticism over the years both in Japan and internationally, especially in the beginning. In 2016, Rob Zombie had to defend BABYMETAL online.🤘🦊🤘

Love that Sonisphere had such a lasting effect on them, it was a truly amazing moment

You can tell Su's english is getting stronger as she's starting to speak quicker. She speaks so quickly in Japenese!

What does stand out to me in so many of the interviews is they all listen so intently to each other and all help each other if one of them trying to find a word.

well Suzuka says "I name is Suzuka" seems like yesterday.

They did a big festival tour this summer in Europe - Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, PinkPop, GrassPop, NovaRock, HellFest, RessurectionFest, etc. also festivals in US and South America.

Su is so adorable when she looks up when she is trying to think of how to say something 🥰🥰🥰

10:20 I’m pretty sure Momo studied in Australia so that’s why her English is so good. You can tell she has an Australian twang sometimes

@poohbear4702 1 year ago

Momo studied abroad, so her English ability grew because of that.

Nice one! I would also suggest the interview from end of 2023 with Fox 5 NY! The interviewer is a huge Babymetal fan himself, and previously interviewed them in 2014 when Babymetal 1st played that same venue.

He also asked them to respond in Japanese so they can show their genuine selves without having to think through English.

For Ratatata:

Official MV, and Live at FOX_FEST.

Both are available on Babymetal’s channel.

Nice one! They are so nervous for using English and out of their comfort zone. I actually prefer when they answer in Japanese... Su-metal is a freaking machine gun speaking. 🤣

Babymetal's funny moments can also be seen on their Omajination channel.
Babymetal is known for their flawless and badass stage act, but sometimes they can be silly too.🖐️😸

Love the interviews you get to see the personalities of them . very humble and polite . another thing you notice is it seems that interviewers like interviewing them . same as all the other bands seem to like them as well . especially the ones that get to work with them . ❤️❤️❤️😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

I have always loved watching their interviews to witness how their confidence and attitudes changed over the years plus watching their English get better and better even though the early ones were funny when they had no clue what anyone was saying when it was lost in translation 😂❤️🤘🦊

RATATATA is just incredible. Can't wait to see what you make of the music video they made for it - it's so outside the Babymetal norm in the way they present themselves in it.
