What a gentleman in the best and fullest sense of the word!  His dialogues with Thomas Howard on EWTN's "Philosophers' Bench" are timeless.

Yes, Dr Peter Kreeft keeps striking home for me.  I so relate to his talk here.  I have been extremely graced with the soft virtues, but have been very resistant (almost totally) to the hard virtues.  He has clarified where my challenge lies in service to God.  I truly love this man and his wisdom.  He is primary in my turn back to the Catholic Church.

I once grieved in my prayers for a wayward son so very hard my physical heart nearly gave out. That was a wake up call when God reminded me I had others still in my care and could I'll afford to leave them. I asked but what of the parable of the 99? He told me, if you trust him with my own soul,  then I can trust him with any body's.

Dr.Kreeft has become my go person for explaining goodness of God in this turbulent present day chaos. My respect and appreciation for such a beautiful man.   Bonnie Shiah

GOD BLESS PETER KREEFT for his passionate witness!

Dr. Kreeft has gained a new fan. So many people approach this question with very little humanity, but the good doctor doesn’t pretend that human emotions play no part re: hell. Too many trads act like hell is a good thing and it just becomes exhausting.

What a gift. Well said, well stated.. thanks for posting.

Wonderful lecture, Dr. Kreeft.  Last night I was disquieted by a Catholic speaker saying emphatically that God was so Merciful that there could be no Hell.  Your talk on the relationship of both Mercy and Justice seems, to me, to be much more balanced and theologically correct.  Thank you.

Please stop getting older. I have never met you and I already miss you. You have so much love and respect and common sense for GOD.

try listhing with your heart
GOD BLESS YOU DR PETER KREEFT

I love Dr. Kreeft. 52:34

Absolutely love Dr. Kreeft! That said, I’d like to clarify a statement he made, with respect. He said (around 41:30) that God doesn’t “remember” - He doesn’t “remember His covenant” - that this is an analogy. It isn’t an analogy! God “re-members” his covenant. He brings together its parts, it’s members . . .  His people.

Splendid !!!

I love Dr. Kreeft. MAY GOD REWARD YOU🙏

God and is holy not purely love - he does require punishment for sin amen

In the last question that was difficult to answer perhaps the answer is FORGIVENESS.Where the friend chooses not to accept GOD 's mercy and goes to hell .We still love them even to our neighbours that go to hell too. We forgive them and this creates that disengagement. We understand and accept their choice. We love them.

FANTASTIC!

Jesus allows us to offer our sufferings and unite them to his cross for the redemption of mankind ...that’s JUSTICE. He also allows us to come before him for the “First Friday’s/First Saturday’s devotion” to ask forgiveness and make reparations for sins committed against Him and his Mother therefore uniting our prayer to his on the cross “forgive them Father they know not what they do” ...that’s MERCY.  So the last question that was posed in the video -How does God get reparation for the souls that chose Hell when he is due their love? By his abundant Grace poured out to others who ask forgiveness for sins they probably didn’t commit (First Friday/First Saturday) and by uniting their prayers to Jesus’ on the cross.  [(Chances are if you participate in the First Friday/First Saturday Devotion you yourself do not have trouble believing in let’s say Mary’s Immaculate Conception.)]

Have everything turned up -- still difficult to hear.  This is the second Dr. Kreeft 2016 talk that has this problem.
