So Alex really didn't want Laura to learn that she's pregnant, yet she falls asleep with the pregnancy test out in the open, in a world where people literally can't knock or ask if they can enter her room, because it would put them in danger. I'm sorry, but Alex doesn't seem to be the brightest candle on the cake.
I know it's a game but, Alex should've 100% died during the intro as well. She's havinga panic attack and is stuck on a tree log, her boyfriend/husband gets wrecked in front of her. She'd guaranteed lose her shit and scream or at the very least make noise. You're telling me after seeing her beloved get demolished she just goes fully silent while the monster is nearby? Talk about plot armor.
I get that it's part of the game mechanics about her asthma and panic attacks as a supplemental hazard, but I'm just imagining this newly pregnant woman running around just wolfing down whatever anti-stress pills (whatever those are) on the spot wherever she finds them. That's gonna be super great for the baby. Also, lol the very end when John thought it was safe to do an outro. 😂
30:04 speaking as someone who was a cringe teenage girl who acted exactly like those girls and had friends who acted like those girls, we absolutely listened to black metal
I find the premise of the Quiet Place franchise incredibly silly (if the creatures really had such great hearing that they can hear a pin drop miles away, everyone would be dead instantly because our bodies make sounds we are unable to stop), but the game looks more fun than I would've expected, at least experienced this way, watching someone play it as they gesture wildly at the camera 😂
Here I’m like, “if this were Until Dawn (affectionate), the dude would scare that chick around a corner or something. But this is a sound-based monster apocalypse, very serious, so that won’t happen.”
OOPS. And to someone with a history of panic attacks??? Really dude??
