Is this the most valuable vault tour I've ever recorded?
I am looking at over $20,000,000 in collectibles locked up in this one room. I'm going past the security badges and straight back into "The Cage" for a look at the "best of the best" that usually stays secured behind our steel doors. And like always, I didn't prep. I have no idea what's in these boxes. I'm going in blind to react live to the greatest items in the cage.
In this tour, I’m showcasing some true Grails currently sitting in my vault:
1952 Topps Unopened Wax Box: Back in the day it cost a penny, but today this sealed box could hold $6 million worth of cards.
Captain America #1 (1941): The ultimate comic book grail featuring Cap knocking out Hitler on the cover. One of the highest graded in existence (PSA 8).
The $3M TCG Table: A CGC 9 Pikachu Illustrator (the "Gold Standard" of Pokémon) sitting right next to a PSA 10 Magic: The Gathering Alpha Black Lotus.
Shohei Ohtani Bowman Chrome Red Refractor: Numbered 2 of 5, this is probably the single most expensive piece of modern cardboard I picked up today.
Kevin Garnett's 2008 NBA Finals Jersey: The actual game-used jersey worn during Game 6 when the Celtics won the championship.
SpongeBob's Driver's License: Straight from the Bikini Bottom DMV, complete with an authentic signature on the back. A true pop-culture grail.
Victor Wembanyama Game-Used Jersey: Photo-matched to his first ever NBA playoff game.
2003 Upper Deck Exquisite Autos: I pulled a Michael Jordan Number Piece limited to 23 (PSA 8/Auto 10) and a LeBron James Emblem of Excellence limited to just 15.
Mickey Mantle's 1956 Contract: His signed playing contract for his Triple Crown season, paying him just $32,500.
If I crack open that 1952 Topps pack, do you think we pull a Mantle or a Robinson? What’s your favorite item from this $20,000,000 tour? Let me know in the comments.
