The FBI called him one of the most dangerous people ever. He committed almost every crime possible. I read a book about him, a very dangerous man. Thank goodness he has since passed in prison.

I guess there really is a manual for domestic abusers out there.

One of the most horrific serial killers. I feel sorry for the women who's identities are unknown.

This guy just truly, profoundly hated women. He was sickly, undisciplined, and psychopathic so he spent his life exercising power over women to make up for all his faults and failures.

Jiles, you're coming to Publix with me. Nothing says "Thanksgiving" better than listening to true crime while food shopping! I'm thankful for you!

How men like this keep finding wives , while men who would never harm a woman can hardly find one wife let alone 3 or more ? Really does amaze me

I can not imagine the hours of work it took to piece all this together. Even with the internet, finding this much information out about someone who is constantly changing their identity and appearance… Staggering.
A true testament to the resolve of law enforcement at the time. This guy was bad news and very few people if anyone knew the extent of his activities until after he was caught. That alone is impressive.

How was this guy got out of prison on soo many cases before he got pinned down. Yet there are people with minor crimes who get life sentences

Thank you for covering this monster and so much detail. I think he is one of the most terrifying serial killers that is very little known

Uh-oh, fake cash and murder. A deadly mix. The murders never went on the Secret Service's radar, but the counterfeiting did, and that's how it got there.

That list of how to control women is disturbing!

Mike was given many chances, some more than others and he abused or flushed them all away.
He was a narcissistic bully..
Thank you Jiles 😊

He was a lifelong criminal.

A trip down memory lane of all the bookstores of the past. So sad they are gone.

Wow, this guy kept himself pretty busy. Truly a full time crime job.

That list of his made me feel really sad, knowing that a lot of abusive partners has successfully abused their spouse with that mindset with this same type of list they keep mentally.

I know that the government is touchy about counterfeiting, because if people get away with it, people may realize that our economy and survival is based upon a shared opinion/agreement that something that is basically tangibly worthless has value, (“real” money) but they are putting a lot of effort into chasing a guy who, as far as they know, is only guilty of passing counterfeit money one $20 at a time.
You’d think the resources could be used on other big $$ crimes like insider trading or CP or identifying serial rap ists…

I wonder if this guy was looked into as the perpetrator of the Fort Worth Trio? He seems to have lived in the area when they disappeared.

I think this case shows how much LE was not aware of the phenomenon of SKs back then.
He was eventually caught because of the counterfeiting and the sexual crimes were not on LE’s radar.
If he was not engaging in the counterfeiting— And continuing to do so —
I think it possible his connection to his other much much much worse crimes would never have come to light.✌️
I wonder if even now anyone has a concept of how many victims there were of this crud.

Michaud wrote a very good book about this guy. I highly recommend either reading or listening to audiobook called  "Lethal Shadow."
