dont make the angry guy angry🤣

I’ve been riding a K2 Excavator sized up to 158 as my all mountain worthy pow board. It’s been awesome.

The boys are getting me hyped for the season! 🎉

the first time i got on the instant beta APX, i was instantly so in love, as i grew up riding a sims fe replica. the apx come out instantly if it spring slush or powder....while still being fun on hardpack❣

Love the mind expander for powder. The flex is more forgiving.

Hovercraft 2.0 is stiffer and requires more speed

Great video!

Can confirm that the Beta APX is an incredible pow and carving machine.
😎👍

Don't make Uncle A angry!

Thanks boys. Your early season reviews are always a favorite. I think I am going to have to look around for that Nidecker Beta APX in my size

@fopm008 11 months ago

Love to see Korua getting on the list. The Pin Tonic and Apollo have been my favorite boards in the 32 years I've been riding.

United Shapes Deep Reach gets my vote for number 1 pow board for actual DEEP pow, not lapping resorts. I demoed the Korua and Mind Expander and wasn't a fan of either.

@aou1984 11 months ago

Absolutely fan of the crew. You’re amazing.
I have the pencil and it’s been one of my favorite board ever but if we’re talking powder, the dart with its swallowtail is way better and it still carves like crazy

@jamescornwall8539 8 months ago

The Winterstick Swallowtail has been updated as Mark mentioned. The shovel has been brought forward , elongating the effective edge giving it a lot more versatility. Rob Wstick president rode 50 days on a Swally to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Winterstick. He rode everything even baked courses with it. Winterstick or Die!

K2 Excavator was a standout for me last year.....frickin rips. The original Mind Expander is hard to beat !!!!! i have 3 !!!!! LOL

Mervin damp is a real phenomenon

Loved this one! Such a great list! I appreciate the break down of this style of board. Praying for snow!

@ing4u 11 months ago

You said it was hard to choose but you really hit the mark on the powder boards, enjoyed your thoughts on some of my collection.thank you.

20 years ago I made a 159 with 60mm taper, 60mm setback 100mm longer nose than tail and sidecut radius under7meters. build purely from straight kevlar and carbon fibers in 7 directions. seems like nobody is still getting anywhere close.

@adamcasto1995 11 months ago

I’ve got this years hovercraft 2.0 in a 164 as a 6’1” 225 pound rider. Probably could’ve done the 160 but even jones reps recommended the 164. It’s more than likely going to be my daily driver for everything! Can’t wait to feel it on snow

@Batwing2465 11 months ago

While it may not be accessible to you guys. Please check out the Cardiff Powgoda. I rode the Mind Expander and the Hovercraft 2.0 last season and while I loved both of them for powder and all mountain. The Cardiff was incredible and just effortless and surfy in powder. It's a local Utah manufucturer and they're awesome with real quality builds.
