I've lived in Pontypridd for over 50 years and I would not want to live anywhere else. I was born and brought up in Tylorstown, at the bottom of the hill from Penrhys. It was our playground and where my husband and I always went for walks. St Mary's Well was an integral part of my childhood as it was open to everyone. I've really enjoyed your video although very sad at what they did to the Lido. It was not restored but torn down and the modern pool built. Not a patch on the beautiful building that had been; I remember going there when I was younger and it was so impressive. Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane.
Thank you SO much. This was my fathers birth place. I never saw this town. The family had moved to the Kent coal mines. Greetings from June Johnson. Lutherstadt Wittenberg Germany. THANK YOU!!
