You did it! What may have been my only complaint about this car is now gone. Fixed my ‘22 GT Line immediately. And like others have said, I may now have to turn the bass down. Amazing they missed this but so glad you shared this info with us. You’ve earned internet hero status for the day!

Good lord, I spent the last 30min in my EV6 listening to music and being blown away. Mind blown. This is absolutely wild.

I've been driving around without this for the past 3 years. How can a car company fuck up this stupidly??

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for this video! This made a huge difference in my '23 EV6. I was able to make this fix myself and I'm the last person to try and mess with wiring. Pro tip: hold on to that little screwdriver tight or you'll have to find a socket to remove the entire subwoofer when it falls underneath...

I just had a full-on "ain't no way" moment like I was that guy on Instagram. I made sure to listen to a song first for reference, made the switch, and then listened to the same song with same settings again. It absolutely is much better, wow.

Thank you Jeff. I had actually installed an active subwoofer, but luckily I had maintained all the original wiring. There is now practically no difference between the active sub woofer and the modified OEM speaker. It is just incredible how such a fundamental error could have slipped through KIA / Hyundai's design, prototype testing and nearly four years of production !!!! Well done to the guy who picked it up and to you for letting us know.

I did this yesterday. Now today I'm hearing sound from the speaker in the dashboard close to the windscreen. Crazy! I've NEVER heard sound from there before. THANK YOU JEFF!

Crazy.... This helped with my 22 First Edition EV6... You can definitely tell the difference. Not mind blowing, but noticable enough to hear and feel it with my sunroof open. I'll take it!!! Thanks for the video. Took like 5 minutes to do
