🔴On October 1, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga announced the existence of four international proposals for a ceasefire, detailing the initiatives of India, Turkey, and Egypt, as well as the United States. In particular, Turkey and Egypt have come up with similar initiatives for a food ceasefire in the Black Sea, aimed at ensuring the safety of commercial shipping and restoring stable grain exports, which is critically important for Cairo due to its high dependence on Ukrainian agricultural products. At the same time, India has proposed the most extensive and comprehensive initiative, for the first time officially declaring its readiness to play an active mediating role in the process of achieving peace. Sybiga emphasized that Ukraine has presented its partners with its own logic, according to which Kyiv is ready for a food and a full energy ceasefire, but only in their simultaneous combination, and also considers the possibility of an unconditional ceasefire along the front line as a potential result of a direct meeting between the leaders of Ukraine and Russia.
