RIP Mike Wagner.

Randy Grossman was the key in replacing BC. He was quicker off the line and could run routes. He helped Bradshaw’s career. The touch rule helped Grossman.

Mature men playing like pros. After the play, get up and trot back to the huddle. No celebrations, strutting, flexing, gestures, raging - maybe a low hand slap after a great play. No play clock, but plays come fast. This was so refreshing compared to what goes on in the game today.

Atlanta Falcons please bring these uniforms back already 🏈❤️🤙🍺🏈🏈🏈

Nice Christmas present. I was watching this game when it pulled from two different channels. A rare chance to hear Bob Costas do play-by-play. Happy New Year.

9:08 “piling on” Haven’t heard that call in a long time!

Wow. Bob Costas on CBS.

R.I.P Tom Mattie

The 1978 Steelers were one hell of a good football team! I'd love to have seen a matchup of the 1978 Steelers and the 1977 Dallas Cowboys. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Richard!

The greatest team in the history of the NFL....AND Bob Costas! Gotta love it!!

Swann didn't get enough credit for his blocking.

for years I've been wondering what was it with those fancy Chrysler cars at three rivers stadium? was  that for the player of the game?

Loren Toews should be hall fame.

do you have Steelers vs Ravens from 1978? That's the best rivalry in the history of the NFL (I say this with sarcasm)

How the hell do NFL players LINE UP offsides?!!

How much money would I win if I said that I bet that Atlanta field goal kicker isn't in the Hall of Fame

Gritz Blitz vs Steel Curtain

The first year the Falcons made the playoffs.  Probably the peak year of the 1970s era Steelers.
I believe Benny Cunningham was lost for the rest of the season as he did not play in the Super Bowl. Probably led to helmet hits later being outlawed,
Ad breaks every five to seven minutes made me stop watching midway thru the second quarter. So did chopping out the huddles and other time.

Atlanta defense not a good match here, but personnel was as rough as the Steelers. Pittsburgh was one of many places they drew boos from hometown fans in the places they played. They kinda hit at the echo of the whistle, lol. Three or four of them in on most tackles - always a big pile of flying bodies.

What the hell was this performance by the Falcons? 🤢. I know the Steeler were great but come on Smdh 🤦. This was also terrible coaching. No way can you neat Pittsburgh playing that conservatively running 75% of the time.
