My dog chased away a coyote and when it was gone he scratched up a storm. He was proud! He passed away a few years later, and that was where I buried him. I miss you Max!

I had a German shepherd who always pushed snow, dirt or grass with her nose and buried her poop every time. Didn’t matter if it was in the yard, or on walks, every time. She also made sure that she was under a bush when doing this. We got her as a newborn puppy so we didn’t teach her this or anyone else except her mother.

After fertilizing the yard, my dogs do a little dance too. Called the Texas 4 paw.

My big dog kicks up dirt after every poop. My little dog does not. My big dog hikes his leg to pee, my little male dog just squats to pee. Dogs are so funny😂

My dog does that kicking the grass thing regardless of whether she pees or poops like she trying to drop kick the grass 😂

My Greyhound makes me laugh out loud every day when he does this, he is so happy and proud of himself and just lately has incorporated a growl into the performance! The other day he was doing it on the grass verge and a car coming down the hill had to turn his windscreen wipers on as he drove by to remove the flying clods of earth!😂🥰

Getting my 3 year old GR Tara to poop is a major project. She takes forever to choose a likely spot, crouches and then suddenly decides - nah this spot isn't right. This happens a few times. Finally she decides THIS is the spot and someone walks past. The look on her face is priceless - people can I have some privacy please. She has frequently walked home in a huff without pooping either because she couldn't find the spot or someone "disturbed" her just as she found it. However she never scratches with her paws. Just poops and walks away. Let the human deal with the mess.
