Located on the border of Brazil and Argentina, Iguazu Falls is made up of hundreds of waterfalls surrounded by lush Atlantic Forest, rare wildlife and incredible views. But this region is so much more than just the falls.
In this Brazil travel guide, I visit Iguazu National Park, take in the waterfalls from above on a helicopter flight, experience the power of the falls from the water, and kayak near the three borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. I also speak with wildlife biologists about jaguar conservation and the importance of protecting this incredible ecosystem.
Then, I go behind the scenes at Itaipu Dam, one of the largest hydroelectric dams in the world, which provides power to both Brazil and Paraguay.
