Goddamn I’m going home and putting on some 80-90s cop movies to watch with my guns after getting fired up about these older guns

Never thought my preference for revolvers, steel frame pistols, and non-AR wood stock rifles would make me a hipster but there it is.

My dad bought his SKS for $90 bucks with the boynet in the 90's. Still has them to this day.

I'm an ancient M1911 Fudd. My son bought a Ruger P90, .45acp, and I was skeptical! I bought him a magazine pouch w/ an extra 8rd. Magazine and a 10rd extended. Really impressed w/ the pistol, and the price was deluxe. Ruger has cured the hot barrel, P.O.I. shift by building up the barrel thickness, at the chamber throat area, of the Mini 14.

SKS is the official hillbilly rifle around here. Deer hunting , home defense, plinking etc. It has a cult following here and has since the 1980s.

I enjoyed the Ruger P-89 it was a great shooter.

In true hipster fashion, I will now abstain from buying another mini14.

I bought my first mini 14 in 1986 for $299. The current one I own, I bought in 1994. Been a big fan forever!

I carry a Tokarev. I will NEVER suffer from fatigue.

If you want to go full Aura Over Practicality Mode, get a Henry lever action.
In fact, rediscover the western as a genre. America's mythology. Liberty, independence and self-ownership incarnate. The lever action will renew your love of guns.

You need to introduce the world to the SP2022. SIGs best polymer framed pistol. Served with the French Gendarmerie and the Colombian national police. It actually got the SIG CEO into trouble with the German government. It's a great hammer fired pistol...BTW, I got the first and the last during the great gun scare of 2020.

The only cure for my AR/AK fatigue is a parts kit G36K. So my suffering will continue for the foreseeable future

love the Ishapore. such a great rifle, underrated Lee family member.

What got me off AR-15 fatigue? That first russian AKM parts kit I bought from CSS. all the markings, the gorgeous wood furniture, the teardown, the rebuild, seeing how genius the design was with almost every part having multiple jobs. Get a russian AKM parts kit, build an AKM.

I remember when aks were cheap and ARs were expensive in the mid 2000s

I got a stainless Mini-14 as my 2nd rifle for $300 USD back in 1989. Still have it with a 2 position peep sight and the wooden stock and barrel cover instead of the new metal stuff. I love it.

M1 carbine has been good to us. Both of my grandad's carried em in WW2 and one in Korea, picked up a crossman m1 air rifle for my son to accompany it. Same overall design same sites same length of pull figured it would be a great training tool as well as a fun toy for him.

Remington 7615, the original Ruger Police Carbine, Winchester 1300 Defender/Remington 870, S&W model 13 w/ 3 inch barrel, AR180, Remington model11/Browning A5, and IMI Timberwolf….nothing but old school cool!
