I think this is one of the most beautiful and romantic songs ever.

I'm a late 60 year old metalhead - this is probably the most perfect recording I've ever heard. From a time before all the electronic compensation. True talent with feeling.

This is one of the most intimate songs I have ever heard. I almost feel embarrassed when I listen to it— like I walked in on lovers. Just an absolutely gorgeous song.

The most beautiful love song...ever. 😢

The first time she sings "eyes" as a 6 syllable word is heavenly.

I think we all want a love like that one.

This version is like,"Who's cutting onions"? In an age of overly acrobatic vocals, this woman's vocals are off the chain. Grace incarnate.

this song makes me cry nearly every time i hear it. her voice and the lyrics hook me like nothing else. i'm an old cynical man and she breaks me every damn time.

This song stops me in my tracks every time. She hypnotizes you, and demands complete attention. It’s amazing. ❤

This is a fifty year metalhead saying this will forever be one of my favorite songs. Beautiful.

One of the greatest things about growing up in the 60s and 70s was hearing magical songs like this when they first hit the radio.

Our world is all about speed, extremes, and multi-tasking to the point of constant distraction. This song is an invitation to turn all of those things off and slow down. It feels right.....

There are no words, really, to describe the beauty of her voice.

I would love to hear more singers learn from this gentle, restrained approach.

I wish more young women who are singers, would adopt more of these stylings.

Ms. Flack brings such achingly intimate beauty, yet expressed with such stunning, yet gentle, power, that it is beyond special. Nuanced. Flawless. Subtle. Grace.

Perfect pitch , perfect diction. Roberta is one of the few who reach perfection. Her voice is a finely tuned instrument.

I feel sorry for people that aren't moved by this song, and for those that have never heard it. Never have so few notes touched my heart and spoke for it with such grace and simple truth.
