That one against Dumpster will never not be satisfying.

2009 postseason was special

The roar on the last one still gives me chills.

A-Rod carried the Yankees in that 09 postseason. Matsui had a World Series for the ages but the overall 09 postseason A-Rod just refused to let the Yankees lose. All the criticism he received for some past playoffs he just let loose for 09. His numbers that postseason have to be top 5 postseason performances by a player of all time. Amazing.

#8 (2:28) ---> I don't think many people realize how crazy this was!!!  At that time, A-Rod had 12 straight seasons of hitting 30 HRs and driving in 100 RBIs. This was the last game of the year and heading in to the final 2 at-bats of the regular season, he was sitting on 28 HRs and 93 RBIs, mainly due to being injured for 2 months of the start of the reason.  Needing a miracle, he ends up hitting a 3-run shot and a Grand Slam IN THE SAME INNING to keep the streak alive for 13 straight season of 30-HR/100-RBI .  Absolutely absurd!  Wish this video got Mark Teixeira's reaction in the dugout when he found out what A-Rod had just accomplished in that inning.  Priceless

A ROD is the last N.Y. sports athlete to win a Regular season MVP

The most under appreciated player ever , As a Yankees fan I loved A-Rod... ppl don’t realize how good he was...

I miss Joe Girardi.  He was an amazing manager.

As a cleveland indians fan who lives in Cleveland, A-arod was always my favorite player regardless of uniform. His swing was pure and was a great 3rd baseman too. Miss the good Yankee vs Red Sox fights too

I love how Jeter appears everytime.. .like if he was always there for him or something, genius!

Rip. John sterling.  It’s an a bomb from A rod❤️

That first one in Boston always gives me chills.

The first and only jersey I ever bought was a pinstripe A-Rod jersey.  I was 22 years old at the time.  It's a shame the Yankees didn't let him get to 700 home runs.  I understand he cheated but he's still one of the best players ever, and always was my favorite Yankee after Mattingly.

You forgot a rod’s 500th which was definitely cooler than some of these

I feel so bad for Colon at #9 man :( he didn't have to do Big Sexy like that

He makes it look so effortless, always had respect for A-Rod being a Mets fan

Not much of an A-Rod fan, never was but holy shit these plays were FUCKING BOSS!

youngest to 600. at one time everyone thought he'd be the new hr king.

A-Rod and Jeter 💯

The home run he hit at Camden Yards in May of 2009 should be on here.  First game back from hip surgery, first at bat, first pitch, over the wall. From that moment on the Yankees were on a roll to the World Series.
