I've tried to research myself on this matter so I know how little is out there on the internets, that's why I'm so impressed you have gathered so much information that I didn't know beforehand. You should continue writing about cars and doing more films like this, you definitely have a knack for it.

Austin Maxi tailgate + Mercedes boot lid = Crayford tailgate....converted a 108 250 SE into a ute 30 years ago.....still have it! Great vid! .....how about one on the utes?
