First, it's just effortlessly cool. The white and orange blend well together, but the interlocking side mechanisms are a clever idea. The Henshin where you click the egg into place, then slam the sides to lock it in, and slam the top to crack it open, is simple and fun while also being quite stylish. The eggs also having two sides depending on the buckle is a great idea.
However, what I think elevates this is the symbolism. The Born Buckles crack open the Ride Eggs in a way that seems unnatural. The hammer slams down on them and the slash saws them in half. As well, the buckles prevent you from performing the regular Henshin, almost like they're blocking you. The Buckles themselves have this awesome Japanese-style standby sound that then moves into bells.
To me, it feels like Rid and the other Zodiac Kamen Riders are becoming Riders the "wrong" way. The Born Buckles seem to be forcing the power out of the eggs instead of naturally releasing them like the Myth Driver normally does. This will likely be explained further in the show as well....
