When I was 14, I was released from a youth detention center after a 9 month stay, I was court ordered to leave the state of Nevada for the remainder of my sentence…
I had to be picked up by my father, who I hadn’t seen or talked to for over 8+ years and was taken to Oregon..
The first hour of the drive was dead silent, he then asked me “what do you wanna be when you finally grow up”…??? OF COURSE I said a “Tattooer”..!!! He laughed at me, and said tattoos are for losers. The rest of the 8 hour drive was dead silent.
OLIVERWhen you first told your parents “I wanna be a Tattooer” how did they take it? Were they supportive or unsupportive about it? & did it affect you in a positive or negative manner…??My daughter asked me on her 14th birthday if I would teach her to be a tattooer..!! (After I went to my room and cried alone like a real man does) I immediately took her to “Body Graphics Tattoo” to meet Jesse Martynuik and started her history lessons right away..!!!
