Nice video. Even though I collect movies, and have done so since 1990, I've never really watched that many recommendation videos about Blu-ray and UHD BD. But the handful or so that I have seen, seem to focus on movies made in the digital age, so it's nice to see recommendations from the time when movies were shot on film.

Glad you mentioned Doctor Sleep, I barely see it mentioned anywhere and it's both a great movie and a lovely 4k.

Wonderful picks!! My first 4k happened to be Apocalypse Now..... it made an impression.

Whenever I think of an older movie looking new because of how good the 4k transfer is, I always think of The Shining!

So many after your list and you are really banging it so here is one only. My first thought came to "North By Northwest". It is at the top with so many others.

Great list! A Quiet Place and Doctor Sleep are definitely two of the best Atmos tracks out there. AQP for the directional audio and DS for the gut-punching LFE.

I don't have 4k anything, but this was entertaining to watch 👍🏼

Recently trying to pick up this cool hobby of quitting streaming and going back to physical media. Its great!!! We have come such a long way from their inception a 4k disc are truly the pinnacle of home media. With the right equipment like oled tv and a dedicated player with nice tower speakers and it blows anyone away how good a movie can look compared to streaming. Dare i say it looks better than most theaters! if you care about your media quality in any way, disc are the way to go. Its a no brainer.
