Favor with God & People - Stephanie Okafor

In this message, Favor with God & People, Apostle Stephanie Ike Okafor teaches that biblical favor is not only about what God does supernaturally, but also about the wisdom, relationships, integrity, action, honor, and stewardship that position us to carry what He desires to entrust to us. Drawing from Luke 2:52 and examples throughout Scripture, this teaching challenges us to recognize that God is the Source, but people are often the vessels He uses. Favor does not eliminate responsibility, preparation, or obedience. It works alongside them.

Preached during The Gathering LA, this message will help you understand how to grow in favor with God and people, navigate changing seasons with wisdom, take faithful action, and steward opportunities with character. Favor is not popularity. It is grace with an assignment to bring into full expression what God has purposed to do in and through your life.

I was prepared to sleep in the dark today because I ddn’t want to ask any one for money. My car gave me problems this month and all my money went there. I was sad about but believed that provision would come. I trusted God for it. Outside of the car, there were certain documents that got lost and it took the money I had set aside to take care of food this month. I have been praying and fasting for provision. In my head, God was going to drop a million in one or the other. It ddn’t take me long to figure out that God was talking to me through this message. I ddn’t wait to even get halfway through. I opened my mouth and received my provision.

😅You know I really was believing God for the money to come flying out of heaven. Thank you for the message Apostle. God is always reminding us that we are not above anyonr. And always working on the heart that tends to be prideful.

Every job I’ve entered, things would go well and then suddenly, things and people would change. The environment would become so uncomfortable, increases and bonuses would even be witheld from me.

For years I’ve had this business idea. I registered the business in 2025, but I didn’t do anything beyond that.

The idea has been weighing on my spirit. I’ve fasted, prayed, and even received the strategy. I know there’s something God wants to establish through this business, and that there is favour connected to me just starting. But I kept telling myself that it’s not ready yet.

I came across this message today, and you can see that God truly has a sense of humour. 😂

I needed the reminder that I just need to start. The rest is already handled. 🙏🏾

Thank you so much Pastor Stephanie. Reminds me when I was applying for my first IT job. Submitted so many applications and had uncountable interviews. Would take some just to laugh at myself. Became desperate. Went in for training a second time. GOD was the ONE sustaining me. I just could not give up. HE gave me HIS WORD through a MOG and shortly after that, while submitting maybe my 50th+ application, I came across this job description and knew that was my job. I applied and took the phone interview, was called in for the in-person interview and by end of day, they called me saying I got the job. To GOD be the Glory. HE has been taking me through my entire career ❤. HIS way is perfect and i learnt to trust HIM through that journey.

Thank you Apostle Stephani all the way from Namibia . While I was employed at a certain company, I prayed a very specific prayer (I wasn't even born again than) and I got exactly what I prayed for and other amazing benefits that also came with the job. In my second year of employment, the job got so demanding and stressful and I started hating it, but I endured until my contracted ended but I have to confess, I didn't steward that job well. Through this sermon it truly feels like God is talking to me because I can sense another door opening and I also sense that God wants to continue with the deep work, he started doing on my character while I was at my former job.I receive the restoration that is coming. Holy Spirit help me to be faithful and to endure and steward the next one well.

Our company is walking into restoration. There were clients and relationships we didn't steward well. Things that were once miracles became a source of complaint us.

As we walk into our season of restoration, we ask for Wisdom to navigate all seasons. In Jesus name
