I spent time living in a Chinese village as a Black foreigner, and what I experienced was eye-opening. From the locals’ reactions to the way I was treated, this video dives deep into the reality of racism in rural China.

If you’ve ever wondered what life is really like for a Black person in a Chinese village, this is my real-life experience.

I envy you..... I lived in China for almost 7 years..... I married a Chinese girl and we returned to Australia 3 years later with our then 6 month old son..... I have regretted leaving China ever since..... It was such a wonderful life, I was living like a king and well respected..... I spent the first year in Nanning Guanxi, then 2 years in San Xiang Guangdong and the remaining 4 years in Nanyang Henan (where my son was born)...... but traveled a lot to other provinces too
