My one regret on this list… saying pass on Nidoqueen.

CyYu: “I’m not f*cking no bug”

Also CyYu: *Proceeds to smash Scizor*

“Pass its a bird”

Meanwhile Cy when he sees Cloud Retainer:

not him speed smashing just for it to all show up in the end lmao

“Espeon’s cool”
passes
SILENTLY SMASHES UMBREON
MY MAN!

Fun fact: if you say smash to Togepi or any other child-like Pokémon, a turtle character (I dont know who he is) will appear on your screen and say “That’s a f*cking child”

game theory is going to go crazy theorizing cyyu’s ideal pokemon

Honestly the only thing that annoyed me was Cy calling Vulpix and Ninetales a dog 😅

technically speaking this list didn't just not include Scarlet and Violet, but left out gender form differences that actually look different, and it left out regional variants *which could be why the three birds in Sword and Shield were left out*. Which is a disservice, some regional variants are different enough that they could sway one. Also yes no new Eeevee since X and Y, even though some regions were perfect thematically for new ones. Sword and Shield would have been perfect to introduce a dragon and steel types Eeevolutions.

I'm gonna keep it a buck, hearing "I couldn't get into B/W as a kid" when somewhere out there is a video of me starting my first run of the game while legally chain smoking in a Kroger parking lot made me feel like I instantly aged 50 years

cannot stop cackling at smashes glaceon Chat: THAT'S A DOG WITH FROSTBITE

Someone gotta make a fan made pokemon for Cy like Mark lmao

“There are 898!”

And yet there are 365 days in a year and you pass and more than 90% of it

I personally like playing gen 5 and didn't mind the fact that you could only use the Pokemon from that region up until you beat the game in the first 2.   It was like you got to role play as Ash.

"You guys are freaks" yeah i thought that was obvious since we're on a POKÉMON SMASH OR PASS PAGE!

i passed on lopunny and a big text covered screen saying i chose wrong lol

passes ariados "that's a bug"
smashes Rachnera
the double standard.../j

A lot of people didn't like black and white back when they played it, but I've been repping it since day 1.

he is missing over a hundred pokemon.

The reason I love Black and White the most isnt for the new pokemon designs but for the story and the pokemon sprites. The spirtes B&W and B2&W2 had was some of the best sprites they had and the laast time we had sprites for pokemon before they moved to 3D models. Yeah some of the pokemon designs in gen 5 was lazy but overall gen 5 was by far the best gen imo. I honestly excited for gen 5 remakes.
