Reach just hits different. There’s a sense of hopelessness in Reach that the other titles lack. Spartans do bleed and die, just like any other soldier on the battlefield, and that’s what makes the final sacrifice so gritty and heartbreaking.
3:54 You can encounter Buck on an off chance during one of the randomly assigned side quests on New Alexandria. You don't always get that side quest on a single playthrough though, so it's entirely possible for him to not appear during your run at all.
51:40 Nah man, forge in Reach was next level compared to Halo 3. Rember not being able to place floating objects or phasing two pieces together without using glitches in 3? Whole different ballpark.
lmao around 25 minutes the audio cuts out and I remember during the stream Charlie said it sounds like a doodlebob language they're speaking. I wonder if they cut the audio because they didn't want to accidently insult the Hungarian language
Just listened to this video of yalls commentary through it and catching little looks while at work, this made my 8 hours way less miserable, thank you Charlie and Matt💯💯💯
Actually Katt was killed with a needle, but if you take the camera in position to watch the shot, turns out it's an elite holding a focus rifle. Likely is early in development they had the beam rifle in Reach and it was replaced with the focus rifle. But that means the cutscene uses the focus rifle since they replaced the model.
