👋 We are Franzi and Steffen. In our mid-30s, we decided to start over. A journey into the unknown. Since May 2024, we've been traveling full-time with our two children in what is now just 12 square meters of living space through Europe. After 14 months on the road, in the summer of 2025, we decided to part ways with our little caravan "Tonni" and buy a 28-year-old caravan, completely remodel and renovate it. We finished the renovation in November 2025, and now we're traveling through Europe again in our home on wheels. Our goal is to find a place where we want to stay forever. We're happy for anyone who wants to join us on our journey!

Als reiner 3-Jahreszeiten-Freitzeitcamper hätte ich persönlich auf jeden Fall die Toilettentür dringelassen. Der Maxxfan könnte auch noch was für mich sein, wobei dann möglicherweise doch eine ähnliches Produkt von der Konkurrenz sein würde. Bei den Stauklappen bin ich froh, bei der Bestellung die maximale Anzahl ausgewählt zu haben. Es ist einfach viel praktischer und auch schonender für die Inneneinrichtung, nicht alles durch den Innenraum wuchsen zu müssen. Zum beheizbaren Boden: Der war mir ab Werk tatsächlich zu teuer, will es erstmal so probieren, oder als erste Ausbaustufe einen beheizbaren Teppich in die Sitzgruppe legen. Den gäbe es tatsächlich in 230V oder wahlweise in 12V-Ausführung. Was würdet ihr empfehlen? Klar, 230V geht nur mit Landstrom.
Unser Wohnwagen ist etwa genauso alt wie eurer. Bei einer Schrank klappe oben ist das Scharnier ausgebrochen. Ich habe versucht, das Scharnier an einer anderen Stelle zu befestigen, aber dann funktioniert die Klappe nicht richtig. Wie könnte ich das Loch im Holz stabil füllen, um daran wieder das Scharnier zu befestigen? Wäre eine dünne Metallplatte sinnvoll? Und wo gibt es das, was ihr nehmen würdet?
Wenn ich mal mehr Zeit habe, möchte ich den Wohnwagen innen auch streichen. Dann könnte ich natürlich auch eine neue Klappe dafür bauen. Aber das wird wohl noch mindestens 3 Jahre dauern.
