Please please do not abandon your iconic introduction. Keep starting your videos with the hello theree... as slowly as possible!

the "eighty two" just hits different

I'd love for you to branch out more like this! you can definitely keep geography as the main spine of the channel while also talking about science, history, art... I'd be interested in learning about almost anything if you're narrating it

Please continue with space content!

Feel free to explore more topics as well, I’ll enjoy just about anything you find the time to talk about.

2:00 while this is one of the reason Pluto is not considered a planet, it's not the only one. A planet also needs to clears the debris around it's orbit, but Pluto is not large enough to do so (btw: I really love these types of videos)

Even though other people were saying that they prefer your original intro I really liked this one!! It was so unique and drew me into the video. Btw I love your videos :)

This was great! You could even mix your usual map content with the astronomy theme, and cover cities/places that have a significant history with astronomy, rather than just "major cities within [country]" for example

You're one of my favourite male voice ASMRtists!

Love this addition to the channel!! Space is just so awesome. 🤩

Loved that video. You can talk space whenever you want, I love those kinds of videos!

I would love to see more space stuff
But also can't sleep with this because I am too interested in looking at the pretty images

Great video topic, keep the series going!

I have this book! it is fantastic read - please make  part two!

Definitely more of this please

Wow I love the astronomical vibe!!! Do more of these please.

This was so interesting !! I hope you keep doing some videos about space from time to time :]

Definitely continue with this. Very interesting and relaxing.

Straight into it no intro. 😮 Code red 🚨

I love the spacevideos, the previous 2 have become my go-to for sleep! Very excited you're doing more of this 🎉

2:03 That's not actually the reason
In 2006 the IAU has defined three characteristics to define what a planet is:
1 - Must orbit the Sun
2 - Must be spherical (hydrostatic equilibrium, this means the object's gravity managed to turn it into a relatively spherical body)
3 - Must have cleared its neighborhood.

Pluto checks the first two conditions but not the third: it has not cleared its "neighborhood" and that is why it's considered a dwarf planet. Clearing its neighborhood means that the object does not share its orbital neighborhood with other objects of very similar sizes to itself, or at least does not share it with multiple ones of similar sizes. Pluto shares its orbit with many other KBOs, and even worse it actually also gets closer to the Sun than Neptune at some point in its orbit, no way can Pluto "clear" Neptune ever. As such it is not a planet.

You might think since Neptune also crosses Pluto's orbit then it itself hasn't cleared its orbit, but it actually did, with Pluto being the ONLY other object it sort of shares its "neighborhood", as well as the fact that Pluto is significantly smaller than Neptune, so Neptune obeys all three conditions, and is thus a planet.

The Earth is a planet despite it also orbiting the Moon, similar to the Pluto-Charon system. The Earth-Moon barycenter, that is the gravitational center of the whole system, is located about 4600 km away from the Earth's center in the direction of the Moon, so from an outside perspective the Earth would actually very visibly "wobble" in place as the Moon orbits as well. Earth-Moon and Pluto-Charon are so far the only confirmed objects in the solar system with such significantly off-centered barycenters though barycenters are a product of every interactions between any objects. Jupiter is massive enough to also create a barycenter with the Sun, this one being about 740 000 km away from the Sun's center. That's actually outside of the Sun's radius so the Sun quite literally orbits around an "empty space" as Jupiter orbits around it as well.
