Rest a while Hero in the tavern of Oakvale as I tell an epic tale.
Grab some potions, food and ale. Relax and settle in by the fire.

You know the lore is peak when we don’t even get to the first game until halfway through

I cannot believe you commissioned art in the style of the first Fable for the entire video. Absolutely stunning, the level of quality both visually as well as the content that I've so happily been enjoying on this channel, you truly are a hero.

Y'all...we should start a petition to have a hidden npc somewhere on Albion. An NPC that talks about how the old stories he told are magically changing somehow...as if an outside force rebooted the universe he used to keep the records of. An NPC named "Storyteller Skyrionn".

I wish we got a blend of Jack’s old voice and the deepened TLC voice. The softer, lighter voice when we first meet him in the arena, followed by a gradual shift into the darker more imposing voice when we encounter him with Briar trying to escape the prison and then it stays that way the rest of the game

I've heard somewhere that they intended to make Teresa the antagonist of one of the sequels.
She'd be the advisor of the new Emperor of Albion, who hoarded all the magic items in the world for his own. Unaware that he was being manipulated.
But in truth, Teresa was actually looking for the Last Guild Seal which holds the soul of her brother, the Hero of Oakvale.
It somehow turned up in a village where the new hero would acquire it. The Guild Seal would then act as the hero's conscience.
Then a climax would occur, where you slay Teresa, sending both siblings to the afterlife, ending the line of the last hero forever.

Love it, thank you. Will give this many repeat listens at work. Just know a 33 year old man in orange is walking around a salvage yard with a crowbar in one hand and an ear bud in on ear listening to your doom, half life and fable videos on repeat.

I knew fable had deep lore but not that is was this deep. Pretty cool. I always wanted to know more about the first kingdom and how it fell. Currently 20min in

I played the first Fable about 100 times. I maxed out everything, focused on one skill tree at a time, limited my abilities and gear to mimic WoW classes, my favorite being enhancement shaman with windfury, fireball, and chain lightning with mail and a 2h axe (i was also super into that back in BC), played good, evil, and neutral (up until you kill your sister, or destroy the sword. The end of my version), opened every door, collected every item, and had every different interaction possible. I even did the ice troll quest by killing guards for hours to get the renown. This is by far my most played game ever. I will say, I liked Jack's original voice better.

As someone with little to no fable lore knowledge you did an amazing job at not only recounting in detail but also maintaining the suspense and weight of the story. Well done can’t wait for the new game and your coverage

Dene Carter has stated that The Knight of blades, Queen of blades and Jack of Blades are multidimensional Gods and that while Jack of Blades might be banished from this realm (Albion), he is not truly dead. His true body has only been seen by William Black.
Aside of that, good video.

Thank you so much for doing timelines on Fable, one of my favorite childhood video games when I was A kid. Now that i'm older I can actually appreciate the world of Fable(rather than just killing people 😅 with Will) thanks to you Skyrionn.

Incredible vid. Subscribed for this gem. What a great reminder of the first game I ever saved up for and bought myself as a kid

Watching this video gave me a strange feeling at The Raid of Oakvale chapter. After everything you just said about Maze, leading up to his rescue and what he just did. Then flips the entire card of fate by Jack on its head and throws an entire quasi-redemption arc that you don't become aware of until the Septimal Key is released by Jack and Maze and well, the events that took place after, it made me think heavily on it. And I cried inside for Maze. Thinking of him and his words as he was dying and knowing the context behind his story. I feel so sad for him. Man... :(

The story of Albion's history told here certainly makes the Hero of Oakville's story more complete. Not sure I would have known about the founding heroes helping stop Jack of Blades. Does kind of make the news about the future of the series a bit more muddled but hopefully it'll be a well told new chapter of the world.

Thanks for this! I loved it! I've never played a Fable game, but I'm loving the lore and in depth coverage so much. The world and its history are so amazing.
Keep up the detailed work. I want to know it all! Haha
Your works are so great!
