I made it back to the Lake District this week, this time with a much firmer grip on my phone π€¦π»ββοΈπ.
The plan was simple: return to Coledale and finish what I started. But the mountains had other ideas.
I arrived to full winter conditions, battling knee-deep snow, a heavy winter backpack, and biting winds at over 2,500ft in -5Β°C temperatures. It was a tough climb, but the reward was worth every step β waking up to a glowing sunrise and breathtaking winter mountain views.
On the return journey, I managed to bag two more Wainwrights, bringing me to 181/214.
A wonderful winter hike and wild camp in the stunning Lake District.
An 11 mile hike with 3500ft of ascent.

Upbeat and so much good info . Said it many times but you really make it feel like we are up there with you.
Panoramic views were epic and your drone footage captured the scale and beauty of the area perfectly.
Good decisions made on safety...you always make the right calls and seem in control of every aspect of the trek and camp.
You thrive in the mountains mate...this was a great watch.
