Completed a Performer's Diploma at the Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University. Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Education. Studied trumpet under André Henri, Anthony Prog, Edmund Cord, and Toshihiro Sakai. Studied baroque trumpet and cornet (zink) under Chris Kwapis.
In addition to performing as a soloist, in wind ensembles and orchestras, and recording in the studio, he is also dedicated to educational activities. He offers private lessons for beginners to music school graduates and regularly holds basic trumpet courses.
Passed the 14th Festival Audition hosted by the Japan Trumpet Association and performed in the winners' concert. Awarded prizes at the 8th Osaka International Competition, the 17th Japan Classical Music Competition National Finals, and others. Finalist at the ICTUS International Trumpet Competition 2018.
Author of "Power Up Wind Ensemble! How to Use Your Body" and "Not Painful!" "Long Tone Practice - A Training Book for Musical and Effortless Playing" (Yamaha), "Mind and Body Conditioning for Wind Ensemble" (Chikuma Primer Shinsho).

で両方共に唇自体のコントロールではなくプレスによるコントロールになるのではないですかね～
高音を出す感覚を掴む為にやるのは良いと思いますが常用するテクニックとしてはデメリットが大きいですね～主にバテやすい奏法として。
イメージはアナログカメラの絞りの様に唇の出口を均等に小さくしていくことで振動の幅を狭めて行く吹き方で自分は出るようになりました。
人それぞれイメージ出来ることも違うと思うんで、絶対の正解という言い方は無理を生む原因になりそうですね～
