Bog: U r learning ur youtube life from me!.
EDIT : DAD IM FAMOUS

You know what actually helps a lot, updating the system before doing anything! Helped me a lot

i think the selling point of Omarchy is the AI Agent. People usually talk to agent to solve stuff in Omarchy. Either to install stuff, edit stuff like what you want to do with theme etc. Love to see how that work actually.

this was a fun video to watch :) I enjoyed being on that journey with you

I would love a follow up video here :)

this convinced me to try omarchy on my new build

The browser glitch also happens on Windows. You have to disable hardware acceleration in the browser settings/dev flags.

This was  a good tour 😊 Very helpfull , i was lost a little bit on a view things. This  made some things more clear.

Fun fact: You get a nice welcome to Omarchy box when you Init Gnome as your Desktop GUI even though they dont say they ship it with compatibility with it.

I used my Agent to create a dock and it works wonderfully.

Nice. The one CRITICAL error you made:

When the apps did not install, you literally found the answer -- sudo pacman -Syyu
Then because Omarchy blocks it, it told you the second answer -- omarchy update
And you IGNORED BOTH lmaooooooooooooo

If you would have just done that you would have had no problems lol.
Good video though, GGs.

If you ran update for Omarchy, it would pull the packages list, and you'd be able to see the packages for install (not AUR). No idea why it didn't do that automatically for you after installing Omarchy.

The theme installation filters out certain files from the source repo for security reasons. But omarchy should automatically update several app themes as part of the install process

Nice video bro and ofc you can install vivaldi and also  get a good dock(there  many on the plug in store) or you can use one from arch. I'm in love with omarchy and also there is other one really good called Ryoku

Mate, you sound like you’re from Brazil – and what a great video!

You have to run "omarchy update" first, especially on a new install, so the packages data is up to date with the servers etc ...

you can just ask Claude/Codex to fix your settings, much easier

You can remove installed apps from the menu by pressing Delete

Getting rid of the bloat, adding a dock, customizing, etc. thanks for addressing my concerns about this otherwise appealing OS! I find the unending list of shortcuts a bit smothering though.

You got a new sub! Amazing vid fr , keep going 👏🏽!
I'm currently using omarchy btw and I like it a lot:)
