Trip Itinerary:
We took a 20 minute bus ride from Shai Ropa, Tirthan Valley to Banjar bus stand from there we hired a private cab to Shoja for Rs. 1,500 that dropped us to our hostel - Hosteller. Alternatively, you could even hire a sharing cab for Rs. 100 per head to Jibhi from where you can take another cab to Shoja for Rs. 500.
Form Shoja we hired another cab to go to Jalori Pass 5 km away which cost us Rs. 500.

The Trek:
The drop off point is the Jalori Mata Temple which is a starting point of 2 treks located on opposite ends. First, the Serlosar Lake trek (including the 360 degree view point) and second, the Raghupur Fort trek. Both treks are approximately 10 km long and typically take 4-5 hours to complete.

We embarked on the Serlosar Lake trek which also includes the 360 degree viewing point of the mountains that adds 2 km more to the trek.
It is suggested that the 360 degree view point may be covered first followed by Serlosar Lake. The diversion to the view point is shown in the video.

Make sure to complete the trek by 4 pm so that you are able to hire a cab / bus from the Jalori Mata Temple since no buses ply after 4:30 pm and the few cabs available become pricey.

Our Stay:
We stayed for 1 night at Hosteller, Shoja which offers very comfortable private rooms and dorms. Their in-house cafeteria is good. A few steps across the road is a small cafe called 'Ghar 1964' which offers great food and awesome valley views.

Our Verdict:
Jalori Pass is a must visit for those seeking natural beauty and easy treks.
