This is one of the few things in Reaper that I knew already but I always like seeing your explanations because often there's a detail I missed. I would not have been able to record my album so easily without the way that Reaper handles autopunching and takes. It might be my favourite thing about Reaper in general.

Always worth watching your videos, even if I already feel I know the features I always learn something new. Never knew you could decouple the loop points from the time selection!

I use the time selection option all the time, but you always have things I don't know. The loop points are a great option.

I did map some convenient keyboard shortcuts to make this fast, but turning to deal with the keyboard still usually brings me out of it and ends up requiring more takes.

Your method, on the other hand, should make this much smoother for me. I wish I had known about this a year ago.
