Hey everyone! ππ Welcome back to another weekly vlog!
THE CAMPING VLOG IS FINALLY HERE! ποΈπ After all of the preparation, packing, shopping and nearly 11 hours of baking in last week's vlog, the time had finally come to head off for our annual family camping trip! π₯Ήπ€
We headed back to Cobb & Co Nine Mile Camping Grounds in Gympie for our *8th year* of our annual camping trip! ποΈπ³π₯ We missed last year because I got married, so after having a year off, we were ALL so excited to be back and continue our little family tradition! π₯°
This trip was honestly everything I could have hoped for. We spent the week making so many memories, laughing until our stomachs hurt around the campfire, cooking SO much delicious food and just enjoying being together as a family. π€π₯
There was definitely no shortage of food either! ππ΄ We made damper, cooked in the camp ovens, made cob loaves, pumpkin scones, roasts, stews and SO many other yummy things! π©πΌβπ³π₯π₯π° There is something about cooking and eating around a campfire that just makes everything taste even better! π
We also went on billabong walks πΏπΆπΌββοΈ, had ice creams π¦, played what felt like approximately one million games of totem tennis ππ and spent SO much time sitting around the fire talking, laughing and making memories together. These are the kinds of weeks I wish I could bottle up and keep forever. π₯Ήπ
We also had a VERY special reason to celebrate during the trip because we got to celebrate *Uncle Darryn's 50th birthday!* ππ₯³π We spent the day opening presents, eating cake and celebrating such a special milestone with him. Then we headed over to check out the NEW mini golf course at the campsite and let me tell youβ¦ it did NOT disappoint! β³οΈπ We had so much fun and it was the perfect way to celebrate his birthday!
This trip was honestly such a special week spent with family, and I feel incredibly lucky that I get to have this tradition in my life. π₯Ήπ€ Eight years of camping, so many memories, so many laughs and so many stories to look back on. I already cannot wait until we do it all again next year! ποΈβ¨
And of course, I feel SO lucky that I got to bring you all along with me this year too! π₯° I hope you enjoy getting to see a little glimpse into our family camping tradition and all of the fun we got up to throughout the week!
