How on earth have we not found the person responisible by now.

Years ago, I read a book about the case and I recall that one of the police officers told John Ramsey to check the basement, after learning that it had not been checked yet.
The police should have checked the basement themselves, but this one of countless mistakes police made on the case!
My suspicion has always been that it was someone who worked in the home and had intimate details of the family’s finances, habits and patterns.
They have DNA, and I’m hoping that forensic genealogy will identify the suspect in the near future!

So back in 2001 I bought a house in Fort Lupton Colorado and I would shop at the Safeway over there and they would always say thank you Miss Hoffman when I ran my cc and I just let it go but finally one day I asked I said why are you calling me Miss Hoffman that's not my name and they said oh well your phone number is connected to a Patricia Hoffman. So anyway a couple weeks later this lady calls and asks for Patricia Hoffman and I said no wrong number and she said that is my best friend we lost touch and she said do you realize who that is and whose phone number you have? I said no and she said well it's Patricia Hoffman and that's Jonbenet's nanny . So we sat on the phone for an hour and long story short the nanny told her that she thought the mother did it because of the stuff she witnessed in the home. So yeah that was pretty wild.

Pageants for little ones is sick………

There are so many victims that will never get justice.

It’s not just the pressures to the child, the makeup and the ‘adulting’ of them exposes them to a world of darkness, of people who would see that in a sexual way sadly.

I have not watched the video yet, but knowing what we know now about what is happening to OUR CHILDREN ALL OVER THE WORLD. My stomach turns thinking what this could mean may have been happening to this beautiful little girl. I was 39 then and I blamed her Mother for exposing her to that WORLD. Even then, we all knew there's a whole lot of EVIL SOB'S IN THE WORLD.

I grew up in Boulder, Colorado. I’ve lived  in Boulder , since 1979 when I was 9  always wanted to hear what someone gifted, would have to say about who really killed little JonBenet  I was 26 in 96, and just had my daughter Autumn in September of 96… Jon Benet was such a beautiful little girl, and it’s a shame there’s never been a definitive answer to what happened. Looking forward to hearing what you are picking up on this case! And I wish you two would do more content! I can’t get enough of you two. ❤

John and Patsy know exactly what went down that night.

What bothers me the most in any murder case is imagining the fear and pain the victim felt right before they died. I pray Jon-benet never felt any fear and pain.

I lived in Lakewood Colorado, in high school when this happened; the Boulder police botched this from the beginning. The parental pressure was was off the scale, the poor girl never got a chance to be a kid. pageants are pimping out the kids. It wasn't an outsider.

It would be so sad if the parents did that or knew who did. RIP JonBenet

The friend cleaning the kitchen up still gets to me.

Clarifying:  when she says “jurors,” she means members of a grand jury. No one has ever been indicted, much less tried, for the murder.

It always bothered me that the ransom note came from their own notebook.

I think Burke hit her in the head with his new flashlight because she ate his pineapple then the parents tried to cover it up to save Burke.

Wouldn’t you bring a ransom note with you instead of sitting down at the crime scene to write 2 ransom notes?

I feel like it happened in the family.  The brother was always hurting the little girl.  He was a strange little boy.  I think the parents covered it up because they didn't want him to be taken away and lose him as well.

That poor child was murdered by her family

I channeled the case a few years back and i saw Jonbenét telling her mom in her bedroom before bed that she didn't want to do this anymore and her mom grapping her shoulders and shake her and she fell backwards on the nightstand and that is how she got her skull broken and her mom panicking.
