Gaster never even addressed him directly in his first verse, he was just treating him as a test subject that was beneath him. Then he ragebaited spot with his followers in order to provoke Spot into searching through the multiverse in order to locate Gaster, in hopes that Gaster could use that to fix his “condition”. But when he saw it didn’t work, he finally addressed Spot directly, just saying “what a disappointment” and casting Spot out.

8:20 I have a breakdown for you Hoody

The "Speak in Hands" bar refers to how Gaster is referred to as "the man who speaks in hand" in Undertale

The "One canon event" refers to the fact that we don't actually have any canon info on Gaster. We know he exists and the general gist, but all the events that involve Gaster in Undertale are from non-canon timelines and Deltarune only infers to him instead of actually mentioning him

"Webdings" is referring to how Gasters 'speech' is written entirely in the font Windings, which involves a lot of hand gesture pictography. Webdings meanwhile is a sort of 'brother font' to windings.

2:50 “How was the fall” this line actually references one of JT’s most viewed songs which was about Undertale

Wd gaster deltarune, built it all from an empty room

1:20 haha hoodys in the closet

Big WD just straight ragebaiting bruh 😭🙏

React to judge Holden VS AM and my first born son is yours!

When the Spot says "You'll finally get one canon event", its a reference to how WD Gaster is not part of the official games, and (iirc) he doesn't appear in any of the games, so Spot is essentially saying that WD Gaster is so unknown that when the Spot will erase any mention of him, that's the only actual event that will happen to Gaster.

6:32 “SPITTING FIRE, FIRE, YET FIRE. THE INSULTS CUTTING DEEPER. THIS NEXT VERSE SEEMS VERY, VERY, INTERESTING. WHAT DOES HOODYDUDE THINK?”

I will say, spots final line was really good. “You’ll finally get one canon event”

Gaster has no real appearances throughout either Undertale or Deltarune. The only single way is through a 1/100 chance and then a 10% on that 1/100 chance.

Just to see Gaster alone in a single room. And the fun events (which is how you see Gaster) aren’t canon most of the time.

So it’s basically spot saying that Gaster will finally get one appearance in his games. Also destroying his timelines is actually annoying for Gaster because Gaster sees his timelines as experiments that he conducts.

So it’s the equivalent of Spot destroying all of Gasters hard work.

0:23 bro that intro caught me off guard somehow ✌️✌️

Every single bit of lore you might have missed in undertale is a movie length type video so i only recommend it for whenever you intend to keep playing deltarune (that if you don't mind being confused at certain points)

8:56 shadows cutting deeper and such 🪦

Undyne vs knuckles awaits, fr tho, TS was a murder

2:34 JT the goat, he makes BANGERS

7:43 gaster was just testing on how hard the spot could go when using 100% and in this part is just saying how his test was succsesfull but spot wasnt and that hes dissapointed in how hard the spot can go

freshy kanal's stuff are like the gold standard for the nerdcore rap battle community, undyne v knuckles is iconic at this point

10:12 holy shit it's me!

I’ve been waiting for this! Thankee hoodie doodie!

5:16 not an Undertale reference, Webdings and Wingdings are both fonts (and obvious spider joke)
