He brought nothing but SMILES and lots of laughter to everyone. He's just a funny guy all by himself.

Rest in peace, Paul Reubens. Great monologue. When that pizza gets delivered and he starts talking to the delivery guy in gibberish Spanish and then asked Suzanne and Frankie if "they were having some, too?", I fell on the floor laughing.

Pee Wee should have had his own late night show.   It would have been a hit.

Best guest host...EVER! He had the crowd in the palm of his hands.

Love him or hate him, he was by far one of the most original characters in the history of entertainment.

Wow, Paul is a master improv! I was just a kid back then so I didn't realize how much effort he put into his Pee-Wee persona.

Man he was ahead of his time. I didn’t appreciate him enough back then, but I think he’s pretty brilliant now.

Paul Rubens is such a genius. He and Norm McDonald are the most underrated comics in history.

He should’ve gotten his own talk show.

RIP Pee-Wee Herman

I just bought the complete series of Pee-Wee's playhouse. I watch it every sunday morning while I eat breakfast just like i used to when I was young and would watch it every saturday morning.... I appreciate it more now than I did when I was young. It always makes me feel better...Just saying, as you were.

God I miss the late 80’s/early 90’s.

😂 that nod to Johnny Carson’s “golf swing” at the beginning.

This is absolutely adorable!

Thank you for uploading this!! He is such a gem ❤ watching this on his Birthday. Rest in peace my friend ❤

Who else is here broken hearted 😭💔

“Is that how you met your wife?” Lol love how reubens/ pee-wee dresses down cocky Howard. And he was totally unprepared for it 😂

Seeing this for the first time, I'm impressed! I never thought I'd see Pee Wee as a guest HOST on The Tonight Show, but he did a GREAT job!

Rest in peace Pee-Wee Herman (Paul Reubens).. you've made my childhood a lot of fun.

He was excellent! It was sweet that Herman was talking to his parents.
