In 2009, Thorpe Park brought the SAW movies to life with the launch of SAW - The Ride. Guests board a mechanical device with the aim of escaping Jigsaw's trap - a 100ft tall Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter coaster featuring three inversions and a 100° drop.

On ride filming at Thorpe Park is strictly prohibited. This video was filmed with permission from Thorpe Park in a controlled environment.

Best POV of saw so far. The first mini drop is surprisingly intense in the dark.

Somehow you've managed to make it look smooth - great POV!

SAW is great, got to ride it loads when it first opened. It kept breaking down and the queue cleared as they announced it was shut, but we hung around and got to ride it several times with no queue about three or four times before the masses returned. I remember it being such a smooth but exciting ride. Good times

The thing theme related is the chainsaw sound of the lift 😂. Still a great ride

Damn we actually have a really good camera quality with lights on saw, the last on ride pov with lights on was like what 2009, 2010 something like that so this is really good.

I got the lights on experience when it broke down whilst I was on the block by Billy the puppet. Waited for 10 minutes and then the ride restarted and continued with the lights on.
Was special

I went to thorpe park and this was one of my most excited rides to go on. Bht while I was in line for hyperia. A lightning rain storm hit and everything closed. I waited it out and got on hyperia next bc everyone left the line. It reopened soon after. But when I went to ride saw it waa closed. So I got on the teacups. Then got on hyperia before close. And when we pulled back in. They said everyone in 4 to the last rows can ride again. So I got an encore being in the last row. Last ride of the night. As a visitor from Canada, this was a treat

I love this ride but the ending is so rough and unthemed… especially with the breaks, one can only dream about it ending better or being fixed considering lack of space and budget, still a great ride though.
