President Donald Trump took a moment to personally greet the construction workers working around the clock on his White House projects, telling them: “Nice job, fellas!”

Trump also showed off the new White House helipad, explaining why he believes it is needed to accommodate the powerful new Marine One helicopters and protect the South Lawn. The helipad project has been designed with a large presidential seal and is privately funded.

Trump then signed a piece of the new helipad that will eventually be buried, joking: “I hope this is a good one... I don’t know if anyone’s ever going to see it again.”

One of the most touching moments came when Trump gave particular attention to one of the older workers and brought him over to sign alongside him.
