Lane has a history of mental health issues, particularly depression. Yes, he has been a tremendous athlete at the highest level of competition. But what is far more important is what he and other athletes deal with off the field. They have really serious health issues like any ordinary person does. He is loved by many, and he has been courageous for several years now in publicly talking about his bouts with depression. Not in depth of course but it takes a lot of courage, especially for men to admit they are suffering from depression. I pray he and his family continue to receive the professional help and support necessary to overcome this difficult time in their lives.
I deal with mental health issues myself without earning millions and millions of dollars... as a starting LT for 14 yrs, that would of saved my mom's life and made everything easier...I dont want to hear it at all....my dad couldnt afford the 900$ per day hospice facility charge when insurance ran out...hes got parkinsons, had a stroke after she died and then skin cancer and I was just diagnosed with a serious blood clot in my leg I can't even afford the 500$ eliquis medication for per month...people must live on a different planet where nothing bads happened to them...atleast when your making millions you can take care of family members. .and you forget passion for the sport...if i were lucky enough id play to a 20yr career...this is what its called to be detached from reality by both yourself and lane Johnson....he just already earned the money and thats why he stepped away...your alls comments in all due respect makes me sick
