I rarely now visit the town centre where I live on the south coast. It had for all of my 50 plus years been the gathering, meet and greet, shopping hub and our night and hi-life centred there too. In a few short years, now a slum ghost town with only tumbleweed litter, cafes with canabis leaves on the signage and not much else. Last several times I went to Cambridge, more than 5years ago, I couldnt make pedestrian progress because of the thriving buisness and their buffalo herds of shoppers. This film scares me. Not enough life present to breathe life into those buildings. Are we just going to let everything die? At least my laptop won't get Covid and leave me grieving alone. Me, Lappy and Wilson.
